Our ceremonial cacao begins its journey in Peru’s Ucayali region, deep in the Amazon rainforest — one of the world’s most respected origins for fine-flavour cacao. Surrounded by rainforest, fed by fertile soil and a warm tropical climate, the cacao trees grow, producing beans with a distinctive flavour and aroma.
Unlike mass-produced cacao, fine-flavour cacao is valued for its careful cultivation and attentive post-harvest processing. Each harvest is selected carefully; the beans are fermented and gently dried under controlled conditions, letting their natural character fully emerge.
We can tell you the farm. That’s the point.

Quality and craft
Every pod is hand-picked at optimal ripeness, then carefully fermented and dried. These traditional steps — from cultivation through harvest, fermentation and drying — are what draw out the rich chocolate depth, the subtle fruit notes, and the smooth finish of fine cacao.
We source from farming communities in the Peruvian Amazon who grow cacao using environmentally responsible methods. Encouraging fine-flavour cacao cultivation helps protect the rainforest, supports local livelihoods, and preserves farming traditions passed down through generations.
Healthy forests, responsible farming, and exceptional cacao are inseparable.
